Introducing bioinformatics-focused concepts and skills in a biology classroom is difficult, especially in introductory biology classrooms.
The GEP officially has a 501(c)(3) nonprofit arm to allow us to continue our work to democratize research.
Donations are tax deductible.
In addition to our traditional publications, GEP students and their faculty mentors are publishing in microPublication.org, which publishes brief articles on research findings presented in a single figure to rapidly disseminate experimentally sound results to the community. For a full list of GEP microPublication articles, see the “Micropublications” page.
