Welcome to the start of the 2023 academic year! For everyone, both new and returning, we’re excited to continue our research as the Genomics Education Partnership. We couldn’t do it without all of you.
The GEP officially has a 501(c)(3) nonprofit arm to allow us to continue our work to democratize research.

In addition to our traditional publications, GEP students and their faculty mentors are publishing in microPublication.org, which publishes brief articles on research findings presented in a single figure to rapidly disseminate experimentally sound results to the community. GEP faculty participated in the 2023 National GEP Faculty Workshop on June 6-9 at Washington University in St. Louis.
The Midwest North Regional Node, which covers Michigan, Ohio, Illinois, Indiana, and Wisconsin, held a Regional Node Meeting virtually on January 26, 2023.
