Welcome from the Virtual TAs

Welcome to the start of the 2023 academic year! For everyone, both new and returning, we’re excited to continue our research as the Genomics Education Partnership. We couldn’t do it without all of you.
Welcome Fall 2023 The GEP’s Virtual TAs are a centralized core group of students that can provide real-time support to all GEP students seven days a week.

Hello Students, Faculty, and Institutions,

Welcome to the start of the 2023 academic year! For everyone, both new and returning, we’re excited to continue our research as the Genomics Education Partnership. We couldn’t do it without all of you.

For new institutions and students joining us, we want to take the time to welcome each of you for being here. We want to ensure you have the best experience possible with our tools, modules, and most importantly, our community – the partnership that brings our enthusiasm for Genomics to this type of stage. From online modules, Regional Node Meetings, Virtual TAs, and much more (seriously, we’ve been busy), we have everything for both faculty and students to succeed.

For those returning, a genuine thank you. We couldn’t continue to build the GEP community into what it is today. We wish to continue our commitments to making one of the most robust curriculums and resources for genomic education, and your continued participation makes that happen each and every year. Regardless, if it is a Trello card, a Zoom Meeting, the yearly Faculty Workshop, or an email, we take all feedback to heart; partnership is what makes us unique and will continue to drive our research to new and exciting places – together.

For students and curious faculty, the GEP Virtual TAs have spent a good deal of time configuring and getting set up for the new school year. They are excited and eager to meet you for all sorts of questions, curiosities, or odds-goings-on. We will have robust availability throughout the morning, noon, and night so we will try our best to be as available as we can.

Ultimately, as the new academic year marches closer, the Virtual TAs at the Genomics Education Partnership wish to welcome one and all. Let’s have a fantastic academic year!
